Mumbai (Gurudatta Wakdekar) : The 48th state level judo competition organized by Maharashtra Judo Association held at Sangli. The Competitions were held in various groups of sub-juniors and cadets. The winning players in all groups have qualified for the national tournament. The performances of Raghav Senthilwell, Muzaffar Farooq, Yash Mukesh were remembered by the audience.
Under the guidance of Maharashtra Judo Association President Dhananjay Bhosale and General Secretary Shailesh Tilak this event is well organized by Datta Aphale, Cawas Bilimoria, Yatish Bangera, Ravi Patil, Gautam Patil, Dr. Ashok Patil, Rahul Sonawane, Chandrasekhar Sakhare as well as office bearers and members of the association did a great job.
The first three winners in the boys’ sub-junior category are – 66 kg and above – Aryan Mal (Mumbai), Swaraj Lad (PDJA), Rohit Ramesh (Wardha), 60 to 66 kg – Raghav Senthilwell (Mumbai), Muzaffar Farooq (Kolhapur). , Yash Mukesh (Ahmednagar), 55 to 60 kg – Darsh Dilip (Mumbai), Tejas Tushar (Thane), Venkatesh Sudhir (Kolhapur).
